Privacy policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
LokuMail is an email service operated by Loku Digital Inc. This policy explains what we store, why, and the choices you have. In short: your email is yours. We store it so you can use it, and we don't sell it, mine it for advertising, or share it except as described below.
What we store
- Account details: your name, login email, password (stored only as a secure hash) and organization name.
- Your mail: messages you send and receive, attachments, drafts and folders, so you can read and search them.
- Delivery records: for messages you send, which servers accepted, delayed or refused them, so you can see what happened to your mail.
- Security logs: sign-in attempts and important account changes, kept to protect your account and investigate abuse.
How we use it
- To deliver, store and display your email.
- To filter spam and protect accounts from abuse.
- To keep the service running and secure.
We don't use your email for advertising and we don't sell personal information.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored on servers we operate in Canada. Mail travels over encrypted connections whenever the other side supports it.
Sharing
We only share information when it's needed to deliver your mail (for example, handing a message to the recipient's mail server), or when required by law. If we're legally required to disclose data, we'll tell you when we're allowed to.
Your choices
- You can delete messages at any time; deleted mail is removed from our servers.
- You can ask us to delete your account and its data by writing to hello@lokumail.com.
- You can ask for a copy of your data in a standard format.
